Chief Product Officer

Steve is the Chief Product Officer of Opportunity Capital and is responsible for raising capital to expand Super G’s investable capital under management. Steve also oversees strategic opportunities and partnerships.

Steve Christensen is one of the pioneers in last-mile telecommunications. In 2003, Steve raised seed capital for one of the world’s first ethernet-to-the-home manufacturers (World Wide Packets, Inc.), which was later acquired by Ciena (NYSE: CIEN) for $290 Million. Steve then founded Broadweave Networks which grew to become the fourth largest Fiber-to-the-Home Service Provider in the US. Broadweave Networks was one of the first providers in the world to deliver all three classes of service (Telephone, TV, Internet) over a single IP connection to the home and in 2004, was the first provider to deliver primary-line Voice over IP (VoIP) with E-911 backup assistance. Steve is a graduate of Brigham Young University where he earned Academic All-Conference distinction as a Football Player and the Scholar Athlete Award. A 40 under 40 entrepreneur of the year and an ACG Deal Maker of the Year Finalist.
